2005 Scholarships Awarded
Apalachin Lions Club awards a total of $4500 in scholarship for 2005. Each of the nine scholarship winners was awarded $500 at his or her Awards Nights.The scholarship is to promote and reward young people for service to their community and school.
The recipients of the scholarships are: Broome Tioga BOCES - Adam Williams, Home Schooled LEAH Vestal/Owego Region 6 - Madeline Podlinsek, Montrose Junior-Senior High School - Carol Stevens, Owego Free Academy - Erin Knaul and Ryan Telfer, Ross Corners Christian Academy - Amy K. Labzentis, Seton Catholic Central High School - Nghi Teresa T. Phan, Vestal Senior High -
Elisabeth Jeremko and Eric Sansky.
