• Little People/Big People
June 7, 14, 21, Tuesdays, 10 - 11 am
 Features short stories, nature walks and crafts. Little people, ages 3 and 4, are asked to bring a big person to share in the adventure. Registration Required $2 members, $3 non-members.

• Tuesday Night Bingo!
Tuesdays, 7 - 10 pm (doors open 6pm)
 Cash prizes. All paper. Proceeds benefit the Waterman Center. $3 admission.
• Tree Identification

 Learn how to identify common forest trees. Call center for more info.

• Sustainable Forestry in Your Woodlot

 Learn how to enjoy and manage your forest. Call center for more info.

• Spooky Stories at the Glen
June 10, Friday, 8:30 - 10 pm  Frightful fireside stories. Pull up a chair or lie down on a blanket and get ready to hear some hauntingly good stories. Registration required. $3 members/$5 non-members

• Second Saturday Hike
June 11, Saturday, 11am - Noon
 Join a naturalist for a general hike and see what the natural world is doing. Feel free to bring your lunch for after the hike. $3 members, $5 non-members.

• Adult & Child Kayak Lesson
June 122, Sunday, 3 - 5:30 pm
 Kayak entry and exit, basic forward and turning strokes, fundamental of balance in a kayak and water safety. Class size is limited to six adults and six children. Minimum age for children is 7 years old. All participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device included. Reservations required. $40 members, $60 non-members (for adult and child). Class will meet at the Hiawatha Island boat launch on Marshland Rd., Apalachin.

• Night Hike and Star Party
June 16, Thursday, 8 - 10 pm
 Learn about the darkness while hiking through the woods at night. After the hike, gaze towards the sky with a little help from a telescope and Nick Guydosh. Learn about the moon and some stars. If the sky is cloudy, there will be a celestial slide show. Reservations recommended. $5 members, $7 non-members.

• Father's Day Breakfast on the Hiawatha Island
June 19, Sunday, 9 - 11 am 
 Climb aboard the Susquehanna Shuttle for a ride to Hiawatha Island, the Jewel of the Susquehanna. Explore this unique historical site and wildlife refuge. Bring your appetite with you because there will be a big farm-style breakfast. Reservations required. Please arrive no later than 9:30am. Adults: $15 members, $25  non-members. Children: Ages 5 - 12 half price, Under 5 no charge.
