Call for Volunteers 
   President Steve Gregory welcomes new volunteers for all activities of Little League Baseball, Tee Ball, Girls Softball and Teener League Baseball. Tell Steve or any league official at Hyde Park what you would like to do to help the kids. Staff positions still open include Assistant Uniform Manager, Training Coordinator and Softball Umpire-in-Chief.

• New Volunteers on Staff
 New on the OLL staff are volunteers Ben Dragon as Baseball Umpire-in-Chief and Jim Medovich as his assistant, Mark Warfle as Safety Officer, and Scott Strife as Assistant Grounds Manager. Thirty-two-year volunteer Rich Ives is the new Baseball Vice-President.

• Long Service Volunteers Recognized
 President Gregory recognized 13 Owego Little League volunteers for their dedicated service. Honored for years of continuing service were Lori Espe, 6 years; Ben Dragon 7 years; Kristin Barton, 9 years; Rocke Conti, 10 years; Suzanne Peacock, 10 years; Diane Gregory, 10years; Greg Poffenbarger, 12 years; Jim Medovich, 13 years, Rose Winters, 27 years;  Ken Winters, 27 years; Rick Ives, 32 years; Dick Franz, 54 years; and Jim Raftis, 54 years. 

• Teener Baseball
 Teener Baseball season is underway. Home games are on Owego Free Academy fields. 

• Homecoming Day, June 11
 Owego Little League Homecoming Day is all day Saturday, June 11. Fifteen games at Hyde Park. Five games each at 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. 
 Homecoming Day is Player Day, Sponsor Day, Volunteer Appreciation Day and Alumni Homecoming Day. Theme: We Do It For The Kids. 
 All teams play. Team players in baseball, tee ball, and girls softball thanks their team and billboard sponsors. The Owego Little League Volunteer Family is recognized. Alumni share their past experiences.

• Girls Softball Tournament,  June 24 - 25 
 ASA Girls Softball Tournament Friday and Saturday will be held  June 24 and 25, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Hyde Park.
