New Season of Tioga Journeys Bus Tours 

In its third year, Tioga County Tourism is presenting Tioga Journeys bus tours, an opportunity for you to experience and tour Tioga County like
you've never done before. Each Saturday, during the months of June through October, a Ride Tioga twenty-passenger, air conditioned, handicap-accessible bus will take you to destinations with a special theme. Learn a lot, see a lot, and have some fun as you travel and experience all that each destination has to offer. Each tour will have a knowledgeable step-on tour guide that will lead you to intriguing and interesting places. In addition, three walking tours are scheduled during the season.

 Here is the schedule for June and July: 

• June 11 - Hiawatha Island & River Boat Tour - Participants meet at Marshland Road Waterman boat dock

• June 25 - (Walking) Historic Home Architecture

• July 9 - The Civil War and Tioga County

• July 16 - Bird Language

• July 23 - Old McDonald Tours (exotic farm-hopping)

• July 30 - Shire Horse Farm Tour

 The tours last about two hours and begin by meeting in front of the Tioga County Historical Society Museum, 110 Front Street, Owego at 10:00 am. Tour cost is $10 per person. Credit card payments are accepted. Reservations are required due to space limitations and may be made by contacting the Tioga County Tourism Office at 1-800-671-7772.Walk-ons will be allowed if space permits.
