Apalachin Firemen's Field Days -  grounds open at 12 Noon. Little Miss Apalachin Contest at 11 am. Parade at 6 pm. Rides, games, Chicken BBQ. Follow signs on Rt 434 in Apalachin to Field Grounds. Free admission & parking. 

JUNE 12 - SUNDAY
Spaghetti Dinner Benefit - 12 Noon to 4 pm, VFW-Owego. Benefit Mason Markosky who will undergo reconstructive airway surgery. $12 at door, $10 pre-paid. Call 223-4176 or 754-8434. Event includes live auction, raffles, 50/50, bake sale. Entertainment by Jared Campbell, concert Noon to 1:30 pm.

JUNE 16 - THURSDAY
Strawberries & Wine - 5:30 to 8:30 pm, at Elks Lodge, 223 Front Street. Wine and food tasting event with a silent Auction and Entertainment to celebrate the 25th Strawberry Festival.  Featuring NYS wines. $20 or $35 a couple. 25th Annual Strawberry Festival - 9am to 4 pm, Parade at 10 am. Downtown Owego. 

Juneteenth Drum Circle - 4 to 5 pm, at Historical Society, 110 Front St., Owego. celebrates the end of slavery in the United States of America.  African American Drum and Dance will be performed

JUNE 19 - SUNDAY
Basset Youth Foundation Community Breakfast - 7:30 am to 1 pm, Elks Lodge, Church & Front St., Owego.  "Good Guy" Breakfast benefiting Tioga County youth and children's programs & Bradford/Tioga Promise. $5. 687-3225

Antique Car Show - 9 am to 4 pm, Apalachin Firemen's Field Days Grounds, Apalachin. Car show, flea market, car corral cars. $2 per person or $5 per car.
