Tioga County Council on the Arts
 The Tioga County Council on the Arts needs volunteers to help clerical workers, event staff, security people to help with events. Call 687-0785 to volunteer or stop at their office at 179 Front Street in Owego.

Department of Aging
 Volunteers are needed to provide lawn mowing for homebound clients, to participate in the Friendly Visitor Program to visit homebound seniors, and to join the Telephone Reassurance Program - a phone call once a week to a shut-in senior is all it takes. Waterman Center
 Waterman Conservation Center in Apalachin seeks volunteers to help the garden committee which meets Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon, and on occasional Saturdays. Call the center at 625-2221 to volunteer.
