Free Seminar Offered
Create a Web Site in a Day

A free seminar on how to create a business Web site in a day will be offered in Owego on Saturday, May 21, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Owego-Apalachin Middle School.

This course teaches what to incorporate when building a Web site for your business using innovative technology tools. Many themes and theories target Internet users; however, this course also teaches the basics of strategic design.

Topics include getting a URL, selecting a Web host, using a template to develop a site, and finding and using images.

Participants will leave with one to three pages of a completed Web site on a complimentary CD.

Instructor Nathaalie Maxwell has taught this course for ExCEL participants in the past with rave reviews. Join Nathaalie for this full-day program packed with information and hands-on Web site development. Nathaalie has developed numerous Web sites and taught this valuable class as part of an entrepreneur certificate program at Bergen Community College.

Seating is very limited so registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Coffee and registration will take place from 8:30 am - 9:00 am.

Pre-registration is required for the free workshop. Call Tioga County Economic Development and Planning at (607) 687-8255 with any questions and to register.
ExCEL is a Senate Initiative sponsored by the Office Of Senator Thomas W. Libous.
