Harold Andrew Gowe

     Harold Andrew Gowe, 84, of Owego, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Mr. Gowe was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Goldie Gowe; two brothers, Donald and Richard Gowe; two sisters, Frances Ross and Helen Gritman. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beulah Gowe; sons, David Gowe and his friend, Susan Valdivia, Houston, Tex.; William Gowe, Owego; three grandchildren, Karen and Scott Leafe, Amy Gowe, Michael and Sachiko Gowe; great-grandchildren, Noah and Luca Gowe; sisters, Mildred Smith, Endicott, Dolores Dolan, Owego; several nieces and nephews. Harold owned and operated D & B Motor Parts of Owego for 43 years. He was an active member of the Owego community, having belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Owego Elks, Owego Fire Department, and the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce.

 Funeral services were held on Monday, March 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with Donna Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Nicholson Cemetery, Nicholson, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in Harold Gowe's memory to the Owego Fire/Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 22, Owego, N.Y. 13827.
