Hub Brown Celebrates 99th Birthday

Hub Brown, whose column Some Observations from the Hill appears in this newspaper, cuts his birthday cake during an all-day celebration of his 99th birthday. The event was held at the Parkview Restaurant in Owego, and was attended by his family and hundreds of friends who stopped by to wish him many happy returns. His family presented Hub with a bound book of his columns from the Community Press.
