Welcomes New Pastor

 Friends and members of the Community Baptist Church, 1708 Main Street in Apalachin, welcomed their new pastor and family with a Fellowship Supper after the Evening Service on December 12, 2004.

 Pastor Rob Anderssen and his wife, Sheila, are both natives of Owego. They and their three children - Alyssa, 12, Gabriel, 8, and Xion, 6 - are residents of Apalachin. Pastor Anderssen is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a medic during the Gulf War. He graduated from Practical Bible College in Johnson City in 2003. He is looking forward to serving the Lord in his first pastorate.

 Sunday services are as follows: Sunday school at 9:45 am, Morning Worship at 11:00 am, Evening Prayer at 6:00 pm, and Evening Service at 6:30 pm.
