Kid's Corner
by Makenzi Waterman

Web Site of the Month: www.northpole.com
It's Christmastime, my favorite time of year! I may have told you about this Web site a couple of years ago, but they have made great  changes; I think you will love them. Visit Santa's Secret Village and enter Santa's Den; there you can take a quiz to see if you are on Santa's naughty or nice list. Go to Q&A with Santa, a list of questions that children frequently ask him, find out what his answers are. You can even send a letter to Santa. There are so many other great things to do on this Web site, so check it out!

What's New?
Re-Joyce The Christmas Album by Jessica Simpson. Log onto www.Amazon.com and listen to samples of each of the songs on her new CD. I think it sounds awesome!

Cool Christmas Craft: Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree
Children of all ages will love decorating these trees, and they're edible, too! What you will Need:
     Sugar cones
Green frosting (you can add green food coloring to vanilla frosting)
Small candy, like, red hots, mini M&Ms, sprinkles, or any cake decorations
     Paper plate
Turn the cone upside down on the paper plate and cover the entire thing with the frosting. Decorate the tree with candy and toppings. Have fun making them and enjoy eating them!

Christmas Facts:
Real X-mas trees are an all-American product which are grown in all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Due to time zones, Santa has 31 hours to deliver gifts. This means he would have to visit 832 homes each second! Now that's magic!

‘Tis the Season
Please don't forget about all the local food, toy and clothing drives. There are many local families that are in need. This is the season for giving.

Have a very merry Christmas and I will see you next year!
