Lions Honor Contest Winners
 Casey Martin of Vestal Middle School and Jennifer Murray of Owego Middle School are the winners of the  Annual Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the Apalachin Lions Club and Lions International.  

 The students and their parents were guests at the Apalachin Lions' meeting on November 10. 

 The winning posters will go on for judging at the Lions' district level and, if selected, will be forwarded to Lions International for judging against entries from more than 150 countries of the world wide Lions organization.
 Lions event chair Terry White presented each of the winners with a $50 savings bond. He also expressed the Apalachin Lions' appreciation to teachers Sue Anderson from Owego Middle School and Leigh Kaminsky from Vestal Middle School for the time and effort they expended on this project.
