• Apalachin Women Writers Group
December 1, 7 pm
The group welcomes new or would-be writers to join them.
• Mother and Daughter Book Club
December 6, 7 pm
The club is reading the holiday book Dream Soul by Laurence Yep.
New members are welcome. Call the library to reserve a copy of the
book.
• Preschool Story Hour
Thursday mornings, 10:30-11 am
Activities during December include reading holiday books and
doing seasonal crafts. Come any week that you are available.
An adult must stay with the child.
• Santa Visits
December 4, Saturday, 10-11:30 am
Santa will arrive at the library in a fire truck. Kids, come
and let Santa know what you want for Christmas. Parents, don't forget to
bring your camera. Refreshments will be served and Santa will have a special
treat for the kids. The Lions Club will be collecting toys and nonperishable
food items that day.
• Library Holiday Hours
The library will be closed on Friday December 24, Saturday December
25, Friday December 31, Saturday January 1, and Monday January 3. The library
will reopen on Tuesday January 4, 2005.
• Library Assistant Position
The library is looking for a person with good computer and people
skills for the job of Library Assistant for fifteen hours per week.
Send or bring a cover letter, resume, and three references to the library
