Photo Contest Winners

  The Tioga County Tourism Office has announced the winners of the It's A Snap 2004 Photo Contest. The winning photos will be included in the 2005 Tioga County River Country Visitor's Guide, expected to be released early next year. 
 Twenty-four individuals submitted 179 photos which were judged on activity, color, clarity, and tourism relevance/composition. 

 The winners of the 2004 Tioga County It's A Snap Photo Contest are: 
• 1st Place - Deena Haner, Candor, "Kayaking Challenge"
• 2nd Place - Barbara Croteau, Endwell, "Cross-Country Skiing at Hickories Park"
• 3rd Place - Robert Zelle, Owego, "Spring Festival Encampment"

The winners receive cash awards of $150 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place.  A reception for the winners, judges, and all contest participants will be held beginning at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, November 10, at the Cellar Restaurant, Front Street, Owego.
