Senator Thomas Libous pictured above with the Apalachin Raiders announced he was bringing $20,000 to help with the final plans at Joy Stephens Memorial Field in South Apalachin. When the complex is finished, it will have a football field, baseball diamond, walking trail and concession stand. This project is a community effort that has reached out to  many volunteers and donors. 
    Bud Stephens donated the property in memory of his wife, Joy.
