• Fall Foliage Breakfast on Hiawatha Island
October 10, Sunday,  9 - 11 am
 Enjoy an autumn breakfast on Hiawatha Island. Menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, fruit cocktail, home fries, baked beans, juice, baked goods, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Space is limited, so make your reservations early. Cost is $17 members, $20 non-members, children 5-12 half price, children under 5 are admitted free.

• Volunteer Naturalist Meeting
October 20, Wednesday, 9:30 am
 Find out what's happening and how you can help.

• Halloween Hikes
October 29 & 30, Fri & Sat, 6-8:30pm
 Come out and talk to the animals. Candlelit hikes in Waterman woods leave every 10 minutes to meet costumed interpreters dressed as forest creatures such as rabbits, deer, and opossum. There will be a storyteller at the bonfire, face painting for the kids, musicians, and lots more. Refreshments will be available for purchase.$5 members, $7 non-members, kids 4 and under free.

• Sunday Acoustic Jam
October 31, Sunday, 1 - 4 pm
 Come and enjoy. If you can't play an instrument, then sing along or enjoy listening. Free.
