African Violet Show in Owego

 The New York State African Violet Society will gold their Annual Convention and Show at the Owego Treadway Inn October 29 and 30. The public is invited to attend the show from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, October 29, and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 30. Admission is free.
 The show is hosted by the Vestal African Violet and Gesneriad Society, and club members will be exhibitors at the show for the first time. There will also be exhibitors from British Columbia, Ontario, New York, Pennsylvania, and other areas.

 This is the first time that the NYS African Violet Society has held their show in the Southern Tier. Last year, the show was held in Syracuse.

 The Vestal African Violet and Gesneriad Society meet the second Sunday of each month, September through May, at 2:00 pm at the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Road in Vestal Center.
 The club always welcomes new members.
