Motorcycle Rally Set for Sept. 11
The Monarch Motorcycle, which was manufactured in Owego in 1913, is currently on display at the Tioga County Historical Society Museum at 110 Front Street. The Jailhouse Chopper, which was completed in July 2004, resides
in the lower level of the Jailhouse Restaurant in the Jailhouse Chop Shop.
The Ride for the Homeless attracts more than 100 riders each year and
is being planned this year as an entire community effort. Working with
members from the police department and business community, the courtyard
located by the Court Street Bridge will set the stage for the September
11 ride and music event.
Sponsors for this year's event include the Jailhouse Restaurant and Jailhouse Choppers, Matthews Truck City USA, Community Bank, and M&T Bank.
