Local Fire Depts Awarded FEMA Grants

 U.S. Representative Maurice Hinchey (NY-22) last month announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded grants to local fire departments. The local fire departments which received the awards, and the dollar amount of the grants are:

 • Campville Fire Department, $25,125

 • Endwell Fire Department, $106,718

 • Town of Binghamton Volunteer Fire Department, $106,771

 • Village of Owego Fire Department,  $91,989

 "The Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program continues to benefit fire companies in the 22nd Congressional District," said Hinchey. "We've put a lot of time and effort into funding the grant program and then making sure our companies are able to put together the best possible application."
