Election Inspector Training 

 The Board of Elections has scheduled two training classes for those persons interested in becoming an Election Inspector. You may attend either class, however the class on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at 1:00 pm will be geared for new inspectors. A refresher class will be offered on Wednesday, August 18, at 10:00 am. The class will be held in the auditorium of the County Office Building, 56 Main Street in Owego. 

 Inspectors are needed from the Republican and Democratic parties throughout the county as substitutes, and are paid for attending training classes and for working on Election Days. The Primary Election will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm.
