• Little People/Big People
Fridays, 1 - 2:30 pm
 Just for July and August Little People Big People is making a change by allowing a littler person to bring his or her bigger sibling along. The sibling can be as old as 7 and must accompany the little person and the big person. The children will do something different each week: 7/9- Hiawatha Island; 7/16 - Salamanders; 7/23 - Ladybugs; 7/30 - Crayfish. $2 per person for members; $5 per person for non-members. Registration is required.

•  Walk Thru Time
July 10 & 11, Sat & Sun, 10 am- 4 pm
Hiawatha Island
 Take a trip back in time as you travel across the Susquehanna on the center's pontoon boat to Hiawatha Island (near west end of Marshland Rd. in Apalachin). Enjoy living history encampments from the Victorian Era, Post Civil War Era, Post Revolutionary War Era, and much more. See craft demonstrations of soap making, wool spinning, blacksmithing and weaving. Food and beverages are available for purchase. $8.00 for members; $15 for non-members, children 6 - 12 half price; children 5 and under free. Family rate is $20 members, #30 non-members (A family is 2 adults, 2 children 6-18.) Groups of 20 or more may want to register before the event.
It is recommended that you arrive no later than 2:30 pm.

Oh Those So Functional Feet
July 12 - 16, 9 am - 3 pm
 Learn all about the different types of feet there are in nature and how those who wear them use them. Registration Required. Call the center for details.

Wet ‘n' Wild  #1
July 19 - 23, 9 am - 3 pm
 Learn about those who live in the water while getting wet everyday. More fun in the sun and water and a day on Hiawatha Island! Registration Required. Call the center for more details.

Furry Friends Week
July 26t- 30, 9 am - 3 pm
 Mammals are marvelous. Find out what makes them so cute and cuddly! Registration Required. Call the center for more details.

• Full Moon Hike
July 31, Saturday, 8:30 pm
 What a better way to spend an evening in July than walking the trails at the Waterman Center and stopping to discover all the fascinations the full moon has to offer. Registration required. $1 for members; $5 for non-members.
