Staby Deployed in Iraq

 LTC Robert Staby, US Army Reserves, son of Dot and Jack Staby of Little Meadows, PA., is currently deployed in Iraq. Staby is the Provost Marshall at a major installation in central Iraq.

 He is a 1981 graduate of Seton Catholic Central High School in Binghamton. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in 1985 with a B.S. in Criminology, and from Webster University in 1994 with a Masters Degree in Management and Public Administration. 

 Staby enlisted in 1981, took ROTC training at IUP and was commissioned 2nd Lt. In 1983. He served 12 years in the Regular Army, which included nine months in Desert Shield and Storm as an MP Commander in Kuwait and Iraq. 

 In civilian life, Staby is with the TSA, US Department of Homeland Security, as a Security Training Coordinator with offices at Pittsburgh International Airport. His home is in Clinton, PA, where his wife, Donna, and sons Brad, 10, and Scott, 6, reside.
