Tioga County Office Building Update

 Final bids have been awarded for the construction of the county office building and are less than expected. The project bids came in $895,000 under estimates.  This is good news for taxpayers. That means that the county can spend the money to help keep taxes down or to make much need repair to the county bridges like the Rhodes Road bridge in Apalachin.  Let's hope that the county officials don't just squander the money away on un-needed projects or studies.
