Zoonosis Extravaganza - 10 am to 1 pm, in Pavilion # 1 at the Hickories
Park in Owego, hosted by Day Hollow Animal Hospital. Educational Zoonosis
displays, games to educate kids about how to avoid zoonotic disease.
Drawings for prizes. Refreshments available. Look for Clifford the Big
Red Dog and the giant flea.
NYS Chili Cook-Off Championship 12 Noon to 6 pm, Hickories Park, Owego.
Grounds open at 7 am for cooks, Gate opens 11 am for general public. Chili
tasting at Noon. Judging at 3 pm, Showmanship judging at 4 pm. Winners
announced at 5 pm. Tasting open to public for $5 (children under 12 free)
includes 10 chili tasting tickets, vote for The People's Choice. Benefits

Strawberry Delight Dance - 8 to 11:30 pm, Tioga Trails, Lake
St., Owego. Jeff Nyschot and Grove will play all types of music. Cash bar,
hors d'oeuvres. Raffle, baskets, door prizes. $12.50 per person. Sponsored
by Owego Business and Professional Women.

Strawberry Festival - 9 am to 5 pm. Downtown Owego. Parade at 10 am.
Crafts, concession booths, food, & fun. Shuttle parking available.
