• New Chief's Car
 
Thanks to the Vestal Fire Department who donated a 1995 Chevrolet (pictured above) to our fire department (for $1). The car will be used as the chief's vehicle, car #171, and for the transportation of personnel to training events.

• Field Days
 This year, the Apalachin Firemen's Field days will be held June 9 through June 12, one week later than we usually have the field days.

• EMS News
 EMS Week is May 16 - 23. Our basic EMS personnel are now certified to administer albuterol.

• Blood Pressure Screenings
 Freed blood pressure screenings are available every Friday at Station #1 on Pennsylvania Avenue, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
