Easter Festivities
April 11, Sunday, 1 - 4 pm
Want to try a new tradition on Easter? Dye an egg with natural
dyes from our earth. Participate in an egg hunt while taking a hike with
a naturalist. Kids can decorate a plant pot and start a seed that will
decorate the art room this spring. Special guest Daphne Braden will play
guitar in the museum. There will be children's games in the auditorium.
Snack will be available for a fee. Registration required. $2 members/$5
non-members.
Teen Exploration in Conservation-Mammals & Birds
April 14, Wednesday, 9am - 3 pm
Kids ages 12 - 18 can explore the history and conservation needs
of animals and their natural habitats at Waterman. Evaluate local conservation
efforts along with the efforts of the center. Bring your lunch, an extra
bottle of water, and dress for the weather because you'll be going outside.
Registration required.
Raptor Project with Jonathan Wood
April 17, Saturday, 10am, 1pm, 5pm
Master falconer and wildlife rehabilitator Jonathan Wood will
educate and entertain you with his raptors from every habitat on the planet.
Many types of owls, hawks, and even some eagles will mesmerize you. Registration
required. Adults: $5 members/$10 non-members; Kids 5-12: $2 members/$5
non-members. Kids under 5: free.

Come and find out how you can help and be a part of Waterman.
Earth Day
April 22, Thursday
Celebrate Earth Day by coming to Waterman Center or visiting
one of their other sites: Brick Pond Wetland Preserve in Owego, or the
Apalachin March.
Earth Day Film Festival
April 24, Saturday, 1 - 4 pm
Spend a day at Waterman viewing exciting environmental films.
The entry fee allows you to view any or all of the films being shown continuously
during the day. Popcorn and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Acoustic Jam
April 25, Sunday, 1-4 pm
Come and join along with people of many talents. Play an instrument,
or sing along. Free for members and non-members.
