Monthly Web Site:      amandaplease.com
This is a great Web site for Amanda Bynes fans. You can take a look at her video clip of the week. You can also click on "Ask Penelope," where you can actually e-mail Penelope and she'll write back to you. Check out the "Amanda Archive," where you can view all the different things that you can do on this Web site, such as "Tricky Trivia," "Amanda Libs," and "Interviews." There are also a lot of fun games you can play and many more fun things to do. So have fun!

What's New?
Right now, my dad and I are designing a Web site! It should be up and running by the time you read my next article. It's going to be for girls that go to OES (Owego Elementary) and AES (Apalachin Elementary)! It will be a fun and cool place to hang out together! There will be many activities to do by yourself and with other girls! I think you will love it.

Cool Craft: Giant Easter Eggs
Supplies:
    Large balloons
Liquid starch or watered down glue
    Large paint brushes
    Crochet thread (Multicolored)

Blow up balloon and tie a 2ft. piece of ribbon to the end of it. Cover the entire balloon with starch or watered down glue, using a large paint brush. Then, start wrapping crochet thread around the balloon in one direction, leaving small gaps about half an inch wide, so the balloon isn't completely covered. (The wrapping doesn't have to be perfect, be creative.) Apply another layer of starch and then wrap the balloon in the opposite direction with more crochet thread. Continue this process, (remember to keep changing the direction of the thread) until the balloon is completely covered. Hang the balloon for about 24 hours so it can dry. When it is fully dry, pop the balloon and gently pull it out. Now you can display your giant Easter egg!

Fun idea:  When you are making your egg, leave a round opening in one of the sides, then you can put Easter grass in the bottom of it and fill it with candy. This would make a nice gift for a family member or a friend.

Fun Facts: Did You Know . . .
•  More than 60 million chocolate rabbits are sold each Easter?
• 700 million peeps will be made this Easter?
• The first peep that was ever made, took 27 hours to make and now it takes only six minutes to make each one? (Practice makes perfect!)

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter!
