Living Stations of the Cross

This year  Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Margaret Mary Church  Youth Ministry  presented our version of the Stations of the Cross. In addition to this being a performance, it is also a prayer and an act of love we offer. We are thankful to Father Elmer Schmidt for establishing this program at St. Margaret Mary's Church in 1977. We are also thankful for all who carried on the Station's tradition: Bev & Ron Jones, Pat & Bob Desorcie, Kitty & Ev Kimbell, Ellie & Ted Foley, Linda & Mike Short, Terry White, Sandy & Ken Smith, and Beth & Terry Buczkowski. Along with the leaders, we are grateful for the countless volunteers who gave hours of help and support in making it a lasting success. This is our 28th year of performing.
When we began rehearsals this January, we reflected on the performances in the past, and how we have carried on the tradition of those before us, as a service to our Christian Community. During the many hours of preparation we each came to realize the importance of the abilities of sharing, giving, and loving which Christ by His example left us as our heritage.
Throughout the years we have dedicated our performances. We would like to offer up this year's performance for world peace and to all the men and women in our armed services. We especially pray for:  Bill Cooney, James Cooney,  Adom Randolph, Justin Rider, Todd Rupright, and Jason Stoke who are former Living Stations cast and crew members.
