Lions to Offer Scholarship

 The Apalachin Lions Club is awarding $4500 in scholarships to deserving students from the class of 2004 who live in the  Apalachin (13732 zip code) or Little Meadows (18830 zip code) area. 

 The club will award two $500 scholarships for Owego Free Academy and Vestal High School, and  one $500 scholarship for Montrose Junior-Senior High School, Seton Catholic Central High School, Broome Tioga BOCES, and Ross Corners Christian Academy. The purpose of the scholarship is to promote and reward young people for service to their community and school.  For an application, students should contact their high school guidance department. The deadline for submitting applications is March 24.
