MARCH 4 - THURSDAY
Genealogical Society Meeting - 7 pm, Southern Tier Genealogical Society meets first Thursday from March to November at Vestal Public Library. 

MARCH 5 - FRIDAY
Dances of Egypt - 7 pm,  Diana Mahat Shahein will present the richness and diversity of Egyptian dance by performing an ancient Pharonic temple dance, a ritual trance dance, and the popular belly dance. At TCCA ArtSpace Gallery, 179 Front Street, Owego. $5.

MARCH 6 - SATURDAY
Welsh Cookie Sale - 10 am to 3 pm, Rano Blvd Giant Market, Vestal, To benefit the Daily Vacation Bible School held each summer at Vestal Center United Methodist Church.

Spaghetti Dinner - 1 to 6 pm, OFA Baseball Program Fund raiser to help with purchase of new field and team equipment, and field fencing. At Owego Free Academy Cafeteria, Owego. $5 per person.

MARCH 7 - SUNDAY
Ham & Cabbage Dinner - 12 Noon to 3 pm, Menu is ham, cabbage, applesauce, carrots, potatoes, homemade pies, fresh baked bread. St. Thomas Church Hall, Little Meadows. Sponsored by Altar & Rosary Society.  $7 adults, $3 children under 12, free for preschoolers.

Pitch Tournament - 12:30 pm, Nichols American Legion. $20 per person.

MARCH 9 - TUESDAY
Irish Luncheon - 11:30 am to 1 pm. Menu includes Irish beef stew, tossed salad, Irish soda bread, and Kerry apple cake. At American Civic Association, 131 Front St., Binghamton. $6. Call 723-9419 for reservations.
