Hello everyone. This month I figured I would take a different approach when writing this column; instead of sticking to one main topic I would spread it around and give my thoughts on a number different issues and thoughts I have been having over the last month.

 I've noticed during this school year that the senior class (which I am apart of this year) really comes together and shows a different kind of maturity that the other high school classes do not exhibit. For most of my high school life I have been involved in dramatic situation after dramatic situation, which is the general consensus of most high school students, not just myself. This year the people I never thought I was "allowed" to speak to have opened up and showed me a different side of their personalities and there have been very few dramatic situations to speak of. This has been an ongoing trend among the senior classes since I have been in the high school, I often wonder why we wait so long to embrace the different people in our classes—if we did it from the start high school would be a much more enjoyable place.

 After watching a recent debate between the potential Democratic candidates for President of the United States I am still unsure of who the winner will be but I do know for sure that the winner will not and should not be Al Sharpton. During the debate Al Sharpton attacked potential candidate Howard Dean for not having any minorities on his Vermont cabinet—basically painting him a racist to the public.  In this instance Al Sharpton was way out of line, instead of focusing on his own failing campaign he took an unprofessional cheap shot at another candidate; my advice to Al Sharpton is when you are trying to run a successful campaign try to make yourself look like the best man for the job, do not tell why someone else isn't!

 As a final thought am I the only one who believes Michael Jackson shot himself in the foot when he said he felt it was still okay for little children to share his bed with him? It was also a very creeping site seeing how much Michael Jackson looked like Mary Poppins when he was exiting his first day in court. The man needs help!
