New Sign for Tioga Terrace    

A new sign at the entrance to Tioga Terrace was unveiled on October 18. The sign is at the corner of Tioga Boulevard and Route 434 in Apalachin.

 Members of Boy Scout Troop 43 and their parents rebuilt the frame for the sign. The frame and landscaping were the Eagle Scout Project of Brian Bidwell. 
 The sign was designed and carved by Jim Thorpe Signs of Ithaca. Thorpe has been carving signs for more than twenty years and all his work is done by hand.

 Local residents and companies also provided donations and assistance with the 
 After the new sign was unveiled, a reception was held at Fire Station #2 on Route 434.

 The new sign replaces one which was destroyed in an automobile accident about five years ago.
