 Madrigal Choir of Binghamton
to Sing in Newark Valley

Thanks to a grant provided by the ARTS of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS) and the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), the First Congregational Church of Newark Valley (UCC) is proud to announce a performance of the Madrigal Choir of Binghamton to be held on Saturday, November 8, at 7:00 pm at its Church on Main Street in Newark Valley.

This concert is given in celebration of the Church's bicentennial anniversary and billed as "A Bicentennial Celebration: Choral Music through the Ages."

This year the Madrigal Choir is also celebrating its twenty-fifth an anniversary. Directed by Anne Cotten, the Madrigal Choir provides some of the finest a cappella choral music in the area. A few of the more familiar selection include "Shenandoah," "Danny Boy," Simple Gifts," and "Saints Bound for Heaven." A free will offering will be collected and a reception will follow the concert.
