Concert to Benefit New Food Pantry in Apalachin   

The Praise Twice Music Ministry of Apalachin will give a benefit concert on Saturday, November 15, at 7:00 pm, at the Park Terrace Church on Glann Road in Apalachin. A love offering will be accepted from the audience and proceeds will benefit the new Food Pantry Annex, which is being established in Apalachin. 

 The new Food Pantry Annex is a joint effort of the Park Terrace Community United Methodist Church, the Open Door Mission, and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier in Elmira. The pantry's mission is to serve those who need food for their families.

 The pantry, which will be located in the church basement and have its own entrance, will have shelves for canned and boxed food, and refrigerators and freezers for food requiring cold storage.

 The pantry is expected to be open by Christmas.
