Essay Contest for Senior Students 

The Tioga County Democratic Committee announced an essay contest for senior students. The essay topic will be "The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America."

 The contest is open to all seniors in Tioga County regardless of creed, color, gender, or political affiliation.

 The winner of the contest will receive a $100 saving bond as well as free admission for themselves and one guest to our Holiday Celebration to be held December 13, 2003.

 Essays should be between 450 and 550 words. The deadline for the contest is no later than November 28, 2003. Please include the name of your school with your essay.
