Newark Valley Man Dies In Crash

 Tioga County Sheriff Department investigated a one-car fatal accident that occurred on Route 38 in the Town of Owego on September 30 at 7:54 am. According the Sheriff's Department, James P. Swagler, 42, of Route 38 Newark Valley, was traveling north on Route 38 when his vehicle went off the east side of the road and struck a tree.
