Meet Lori Floyd
"Extreme Makeover" Patient Shows off New Look

On Thursday, October 9, Lori Floyd of Tioga Center, who was recently featured on the ABC TV show "Extreme Makeover," will meet the public at the Open Door Mission Thrift Store at 6:00 pm.

Lori Floyd, 37, was selected to participate in "Extreme Makeover" which grants a once-in-a-lifetime makeover to individuals via the "extreme team" of plastic surgeons, eye surgeons, cosmetic dentists, hair and makeup artists, and personal trainers. Lori received rhinoplasty, a lower eye lift, brow lift, chin implant, fat injections to her face, breast augmentation, and twelve porcelain veneers. Her surgery took ten hours.

After spending six weeks in Hollywood, Lori is back home with her family and her new look.

At the ‘meet and greet' event on October 9, Lori will receive a gift certificate for some clothes shopping. Light refreshments will be served, and anyone arriving with a receipt from the Tioga Business 2003 show (which is being held earlier that day at the Treadway Inn and Conference Center) will receive 20% off their thrift store purchase.

The Open Door Mission Thrift Store is at 425 North Avenue in Owego.
