Frank Brown Remembered    

     Francis "Frank" Brown, 79, of Campville, died on Saturday, September 6, 2003. He was a past member of the Town of Owego Board and Tioga County Legislator, a member of the Campville United Methodist Church and held many church offices, also member of the Tioga County Historical Society, Department of Aging, Red Cross, Senior Citizens, and a past Commander of the American Legion Post 89.

 Frank will be remembered for his love of antique cars. Frank was a longtime member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and  founded the Tioga Region of the AACA  in 1984. He served as its president for several years, and helped start the Annual Car Show at the Hickories Park in Oweg. Frank was an AACA Senior Judge and faithfully attended the national AACA Meet in Philadelphia and the Fall Hershey Car Show each year.

 Frank's 1978 Ford LTD was designated "feature vehicle" at Tioga Region's 18th Annual show in August 2003. This was a proud moment for Frank.
