Tioga Business Show Set for October 9 

Tioga Business 2003, a business show featuring businesses and organizations from around the Southern Tier, will be held on Thursday, October 9, from 9:30 am to  5:00 pm at the Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center.

 The event, which is sponsored by the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce, provides a well-attended, professional business show that will generate many opportunities for businesses to introduce new products and services, establish new contacts, and promote their company image.

 The theme of this year's show is centered on "Creativity and Innovation." To celebrate this theme, students at the Owego Middle School will feature their solar/electric car named "SPARKe" at the show. This car is powered by the sun's energy and has been a project that has involved more than 40 students.

 A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and a formal opening ceremony for Tioga Business 2003 will take place at 9:30 am.
