National Archives Week, October 13-17
Open House of County's Archives 

An Open House of the Tioga County Archives and Records Department will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at 16 Court Street in Owego. The event is being held in conjunction with National Archives Week, October 13-17.

 On display will be maps, record books, journals, scrapbooks, photographs, cemetery records, and a variety of records on microfilm, such as school records, census, etc.

 Everyone is welcome to come to 16 Court Street, downstairs from the County Clerk's office. It will be an opportunity for the public to see the newly renovated office and meet the director, Lila Hall, and her staff, Chris Sylvestri and the historian, Emma Sedore.
