Apalachin Lions Corner School has started and we are looking forward to our fall activities. Our Back to School program has just been completed. We were able to assist 31 families that included 79 children. We were able put back into the community $4304.00 on this program. This October 14 we are holding our annual Senior Citizens Dinner. Every fall we are able to entertain about 75-100 seniors. It always proves to be a fun night out. Our Christmas basket program is getting started and our Christmas sight seal drive will be starting in the near future. Our annual calendar sale is starting also. We need your support in these fund raisers to help fund our community efforts. Contact any Lion for a calendar. We will also be out cleaning the highway this October. As always we are accepting old glasses. Just give them to any Lions member. If you would like to become a Lions member and experience the great feeling of serving you community contact membership Chairman Lion Vince Hawley at 625-2365 or any other Lions member. THANK YOU! President Donald Castellucci, Jr
