Little People, Big People
Tuesdays & Fridays, 1-2:30 pm
 Little People, Big People is a nature program for 3- and 4-year-olds and an accompanying adult. Each week has a different theme. Cost is $2 members, $3 non-members. Pre-registration  required.

Natural Tanning
Sept. 12, 20, 26 & 27
Friday  6-9 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5p m
 Primitive technologist Doug Jenks will guide you through the steps involved to naturally tan a deer hide using organic materials. This is a labor-intensive program that will require some physical effort as you clean, flesh, and soften the hides. Each student will receive a quarter of the deer hide. $50 members, $60 non-members. Pre-registration required.

Fern Walk
September 20, 2 pm 
 Take a guided walk on Waterman's trails, discovering the beauty of these cool woodland plants. $2 members, $4 non-members.

The Badlands Travelogue
September 21, Sunday, 2 pm 
 Harry Barnes will talk about his love for Big Bend National Park with a slide show and tales from his month-long desert sojourn, accompanied by "goat." $1 members, $3 non-members.

Look What the Cat Brought In!
September 22, Monday, 6 pm 
 Marty Borko will present this program on small mammal identification including skulls, dentition, and pelts. $2 members, $3 non-members..

Acoustic Jam
September 28, 1 - 3 pm
 Bring your instrument and a song and spend a musical afternoon here at Waterman Center. Free for everyone.
