Little People, Big People
Tuesdays, 9-10:30 am, 1-2:30 pm
Little People, Big People is a nature program for 3- and 4-year-olds
and an accompanying adult. Each week has a different theme:
August 5 - Ladybugs
August 12 - Little Village in the Woods
August 19 - Wind Spinners
August 26 - Berry Ink and Feather Paining.
Cost is $2 members, $3 non-members. Pre-registration required.
2003 Summer Day Camp
Weekly, 9 am - 3 pm
Cost is $85 per week for members, $95 non-members. Space is limited,

August 4-8: Furry Friends - what makes mammals so cute and cuddly.
August 18-22: Wet ‘n' Wild - includes a visit to Hiawatha Island.
Waterman Music Festival
August 9, Saturday, Noon to 9 pm
Marshland Rd, Apalachin
(at the center's boat dock facility) A day filled with acoustic music
along the banks of the Susquehanna at Casey's Crossing on Marshland Road
in Apalachin. Some of the finest musicians in the Southern Tier will donate
their time and talents to benefit Waterman Center:
• String Band Central - Noon
• Debra Chesman & Friends - 1 pm
• The Morgan String Band - 2 pm
• Diamonds in the Rough - 3 pm
• The Down East String Band - 4 pm
• Square Deal - 5 pm
• The Lonesome Road Ramblers - 6pm
• Bill & Maggie Anderson - 7pm
• Shapiro & Shore - 8 pm
Bring your own lawn chair and enjoy a wonderful day of music
Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center will provide children's
activities. The Smokehouse Restaurant in Apalachin will provide food at
the concession. Guided tours of Hiawatha Island will be available for an
additional fee.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-12, and free for
children under 5.
