Walking Tour - 10 am, April Swaney guides a tour of Owego's favorite
site for shopping and business from the past. Meet at the Tioga County
Historical Society Museum, 110 Front St., Owego. $5 non-members, $2.50

Ice Cream Social - 11 am to 2 pm, on the Village Green in Newark Valley.
Part of Newark Valley Days.
Check Fest - 12 Noon to 6 pm, Hickories Park, hosted by Tioga Reality
Check. Six hour of music, educational games, refreshments, giveaways for
teens. Free admission.
Waterman Center Music Festival - 12 Noon to 9 pm, at Waterman Center's
Boat Docking Facility (Casey's Crossing) on Marshland Rd, (west end),
Apalachin. Folk & Bluegrass Music, food, children's activities. Bring
your own lawn chairs. $10 adults, $5 kids 5-12, free for kids under 5.
Guided tours of Hiawatha Island will also be available.
