The Owego Business and Professional Women (BPW) awarded scholarships to the following Tioga County High School Students:

• Nicole Benjamin, Candor, will attend Elmira Business Institute
• Ashley Jennings, Owego-Apalachin, will attend University of Buffalo
• Bethany Radin, Spencer-VanEttan, will attend University of West Virginia
• Emily Kasper, Newark Valley, will attend Broome Community College
• Kristen Spencer, Tioga Center, will attend Broome Community College
• Ashley Cole, Waverly, will attend Notre Dame in Indiana.

 These students and their parents were honored at the Owego BPW picnic. Senator Tom Libous presented them with congratulatory Senate certificates. 

 Also recognized were the CASS (Cooperative Association of States for Scholarships) Students from the Carribean and South America who are attending a two-year quality control program at Broome Community College. The Owego BPW are mentors.
