Waverly Garden Plots Still Available The Waverly Community Garden, which is behind the Tioga Nursing Facility and accessible by Ball Street, still has some no-cost or low-cost (based on what you can afford) garden plots available for 2003, and it's not too late to plant vegetables for a fall harvest. You don't need tools to garden at the community garden because they are supplied, as are mulch and compost. You don't even have to know how to garden to get started. Just get your plot and the Tioga County Master Gardeners will show you how to plan, plant and maintain your garden. Call the Master Gardeners at Cornell Cooperative Extension of
Tioga County at 687-4020 and they will get you started on your way to a
delicious autumn harvest of fresh vegetables.
