Tear Down That Wall!
Jane Booth, owner of The Ploughmen's Table, expressed her delight of the event. "I can see the post office and (Route) 434 finally!" she said. Customers have commented about how open and less cramped the store now seems. "It dosen't feel like the store's hidden away anymore," a customer said. Jane Booth also stated another plus to the fence being taken down, is the increase of business. "People can see us now, so they stop in more," Booth said. Fences make good neighbors, however, in this case, no fence made great neighbors.
