Reunion in Nichols - July 18, 19, & 20
The 13th Annual Antique Engines and Tractors Reunion will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 18, 19, and 20, at Kirby Park in Nichols. The event will feature Ford Tractors and Working Exhibits, great food and refreshments all weekend. Admission and parking are free. On Friday, July 18, the event takes place from 12:00 Noon until 10:00 pm and features antique gas engines, antique tractors, automobiles, and old time displays. There will be a Garden Tractor Pull at 2:00 pm, a Roast Beef Dinner at 6:00 pm, a Tractor Pull Open Class at 6:00 pm, and music and entertainment at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, July 19, the day begins with a Blueberry Pancake Breakfast at 6:00 pm. At 11:00 am, there is a parade in downtown Nichols, and the Nichols Rainbow Lioness Club will be selling delicious food made with blueberries - in celebration of Blueberry Community Fest Day which also takes place on Saturday, July 19 in Nichols. At 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 19, there is a Chicken BBQ. An Antique Tractor Pull (pre-1960) will be held at 2:00 pm, a Chinese Auction will be held at 5:00 pm, and Bucky Moon will perform at 7:00 pm. Saturday, July 19 is also "Kids Day" and there will be a Pedal Tractor Pull, Games, and an appearance by Deano the Clown. On Sunday, July 20, the Antique Engines & Tractor Reunion starts at 6:00 am and lasts until 4:00 pm. Highlights of the day include an auction at 9:00 am, a Garden Tractor Pull at 10:00 am (400 - 1200 lbs), a Pork BBQ Sandwich sale at 12:00 Noon, and a Kids Pedal Pull at 1:00 pm.
