‘Picture This!' Photo Contest

 The Tioga County Tourism Office has announced the Picture This! Photo Contest in preparation for the development of the 2004 Tioga County Travel Guide as well as a new promotional piece, the 2004 Tioga County Photo Calendar. First prize is $150 for the best picture, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place.  The winning photos will be included in the new guide, or the calendar for which preparation will begin this fall.

 Of special interest to the Tourism Office this year are photos of scenic areas in Tioga County, as well as any outdoor activity, such as fly-fishing,  cross-country skiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping,  biking, or hiking.

 Entrants are asked to submit their pictures for the travel guide to the Tourism Office no later than October 1, 2003, at 8:00 am to be eligible.  Photos submitted for the Photo Calendar will need to be into the Tourism Office no later than August 31, 2003. Specific contest rules for submitting photos are available by contacting the Tourism Office below.
