Aubrey Burke Crowned Little Miss Apalachin 2003

 Aubrey Burke was crowned Little Miss Apalachin 2003 on Saturday, June 7, at the Apalachin Firemen's Field Days. Aubrey is the daughter of Marci Pranes and Terry Burke. She is the granddaughter of Marcia and Gary Ostrander of Whitney Point and Barbara Burke of Endicott. She attends Apalachin Elementary School.
 Runner-Up was Aleah Williams, daughter of Ken and Sandy Williams. She is the granddaughter of Ralph and Hazel Webster of Barton and Robert and Ruth Williams of Owego. Aleah attends Apalachin Elementary School.
 The contestants were eight- and nine-year-olds who reside within the Apalachin Fire District.  They were judged on communication skills, appearance, and personality.
 The judges for the Little Miss Apalachin 2003 contest were Joy Ivancie, Little Miss Apalachin 1993; Dr. Mychael Willon, Superintendent of Owego-Apalachin Central School District; and Jan Warner, President of the Apalachin Fire Department.
 James Raftis of Owego was Master of Ceremonies for the event.
